A "THINKING MAN" THRILLER
6 held my interest, 6 had me wishing the movie wasn't already 1/2 way over, 6 made me scream out loud (always a good sign in my book) and 6 was a unique story (hasn't been done to death).
COMPARISON INFO: If you're looking for a slasher/blood & guts movie (which is great too!) you may want to bypass this film and find one more to your desire. If you're looking for a thought-provoking, try to figure-it-out film that has you guessing until the end - you'll enjoy 6 - it delivers. The story comes together well and it's a new story.
The actors did a convincing job - nice to see big name actors in horror films. I think this film was well worth the price and I would gladly rent it again without hesitation.
I got my $9.99 worth!
After reading some of the reviews, I was quite hesitant... however, I decided to watch; and I thought it was good. Julianne Moore never cease to amaze me with her acting skills and Jonathan Rhys Meyers was actually good in his character. I recommend this. I getting every cent out of my (LOL) 48 hour "see it before it hit the theaters" rental, because I plan to watch it again before it expires. The best part -- I didn't have to leave my house and I sat watching it in my PJs and enjoyed it!
Alas another disappointment
Here again is another movie that could've went in so many different directions but I seen it coming how this was gonna end and it stunk. I also learned that this movie is actually a renamed version of another. Shame on you Amazon if you lied about this coming to theaters. Too many loose ends of this story weren't tied up and too many details left out.. Wish I had read reviews first. Would've saved me 9.99. What a rip off. Julianne Moore did a good job with what she had to work with but it couldn't save this movie. I will never understand why some good actors/actresses choose the roles they do. I stayed up late to watch. Wish I had just gone to bed.
