More Than Me

Watch.
Brave doc. Watch , if you have the opportunity, before you lose your dad. It'll rattle some sense. If he's already gone , you'll remember the good stuff.

DEEP
This is such a wonderful film. It shows how important it is to (if at all possible) to get to know where you come from i.e the Parents that raised you. Self knowledge is sadly overlooked and it is SO important to "know thyself" ; it is one (if not THE) most important things to do in your life. This is one of the reasons most Human Beings are such a mess; they have not taken the time to understand where they come from, who they are and why they do what they do. As a person that has taken care of the Parents that raised me , i know what a difficult and yet a truly amazing deep journey that is. When we all have deeper self knowledge we can have real Love not only for ourselves; but also for the World we live in. And perhaps then we can all be more responsible to not only one another, but also to the Earth that sustains our lives.

entertaining, poignant and a "public service"
"More Than Me" helps to destimatize the aging process and caregiving. It deserves a Pulitzer, let alone an Oscar or Emmy, for that contribution to society. Plus, it is as entertaining as it is poignant.
